Cave Story is a miserable little platformer game by some hack of a designer in Japan.
In a manner similar to toohoo, it has accrued a great deal of fanart and general good will and fandom across the internet, despite being stunningly mediocre and filled with screeching music and substandard gameplay.
Unlike toohoo, Cave Story has a port to the Wii, which is for casuals.
SueQuest is related to Cave Story! Also Reka is confirmed casual.
