Astranian Raytech Weapons
Ray-tech weapons are extremely powerful, highly penetrative energy weapons. The most powerful ones will fucking vaporize you in a spray of superheated bone-shrapnel and meat foam, but even the weaker ones can punch through armor very effectively, chewing through several feet of concrete or stone armor in a few seconds of sustained fire. Usually only specialized energy shielding can deflect these incredibly destructive projectiles.
If a raytech weapon is submerged in water or similarly conductive fluids, they short out violently and cease to function until thoroughly dried and given a fresh power cell.
Blast Rifle
These infantry weapons fire non-penetrative, explosive energy projectiles with about as much force as a .50 Action Express hollowpoint - more than capable of splattering flesh to pulp, chewing apart wood and concrete, and gradually grinding down steel. They carry large reserves of ammunition and are reliable in the face of moisture, grit, or other adverse conditions; however, if fully submerged in water or similarly conductive fluids, they short out violently and cease to function until thoroughly dried and given a fresh power cell.

Blast Cannons
These fast-firing weapons deploy a withering barrage of energy projectiles, akin to a GAU-8 with poorer armor penetration and significantly lower recoil and space requirements. They are poor at piercing heavy armor and shielding, and are weak and less accurate at long range as the pulses ablate in the atmosphere.
Disintigration "Annihilator" Cannons
These heavy, ponderous siege cannons fire enormous pulses of energy capable of vaporizing any vehicle the size of an enormous battle tank or smaller. They are poor at dealing with fast targets.
Flamenets
A flamenet is an incendiary cluster bomb weapon.
Magma Bombs
A magma bomb, when triggered, penetrates the earth and superheats the surrounding area sufficiently to liquify stone.
Precision Lasers
High-power, high-range, high-accuracy laser weapons with commensurately high waste heat. They can only fire intermittently due to extreme cooling requirements.
Selective Destruction Field
A massively powerful variant of the Astranian shield projector, which is basically going to kill anything that comes close.
