Appearance and Society
Blockheads were created by Arcus Soulfire to build his cities and populate his realm. Unfortunately Soulfire's skills at transmutation are fairly poor, and he isn't very imaginative, so they are extremely simple, in more ways than one. Their skin is bright reddish-pink color, with their blood being a bubblegum-pink. They have small black eyes and a perpetual dumb smile on their faces. There are no readily apparent differences between the sexes, but females wear a skirt and males wear short pants so they can tell each other apart at a glance. Most of the time. All blockheads are named Eustace or Gertrude, usually depending on their sex. It is completely unknown where this originated. Blockheads are tireless and feel no pain. When a Blockhead is given an order, he will continue fulfilling that order until he dies, is given another order, or gets confused. They have a natural tendency to stack things into buildings, which can cause a problem if they are in another area undirected. They tend to make enormous unstable rectangular 'houses' wherever they go.

The vast population of Blockheads could be considered functionally retarded, and must be guided in their labors by Adepts. They behave much like Dorfs in that they will constantly throw themselves into a deadly situation because there is something shiny or a sock near it, or sometimes, just to see what is happening. They have absolutely no self preservation instincts, and their skulls make handy building blocks for other blockheads. Blockhead Adepts must give up their Foolishness for the power to heal and direct their charges, but this also has the unfortunate side effect of making them intelligent enough to understand how stupid blockheads are. Occasionally they will become overpopulated, and Soulfire will send an adept forth into the world with a large group of Blockheads for the purposes of colonizing some other place. Most of the blockheads end up dying this way, but the Adept will do his best to keep the community together until finding a suitable place to settle.

Reaver is best known for being the author of Rudy Mann Quest on /tg/, and later Mudy Quest, a quest that went on for 30-some chapters, and was well known for its update speed and art quality. Mudy Quest never reached a conclusion, and was abandoned after a failed revival attempt. After Mudy Quest, Reaver began working on a series of short quests with various permutations of a romantic theme; these quests are listed under the Romanticar Series article. More recently Reaver has collaborated with Weaver on Knight Blades, a crossover with Dive Quest.
In between Reaver has done several one-shots or failed projects.

Reaver has gained a bad reputation from his trolling in Mudy Quest, switching focus to romance, starting then deleting failed projects, stubborn and chaotic personality, and leaving TGchan when conflicts arise between him and outspoken members of the community. As a result a resistance against his popularity has formed, but most people know he's actually a very nice person who says sorry when he misbehaves and just wants to amuse people. See also: ┐(๑◕ˇڡˇ◕)┌ Haters gonna hate.

He is a close friend of Weaver, who often has to set him gay.

A race of squid-like people with psionic powers. The originate from Dungeons and Dragons franchise and ever since have become one of the most iconic races from the game. They were created by Gary Gygax himself. They're intellectual property of Wizards of The Coast and therefore they don't fall under the Open Game License

Appearance and Racial Features
(Note: Most of this information is copied from the Wikipedia article. To research more we suggest reading the Wikipedia Article or referring to the book "Monstrous Arcana - Illithiad")

Illithids have a basic humanoid body, but their head is octopus-like. They have four tentacles around a lamprey-like mouth, and require the brains of sentient creatures as part of their diet. An illithid who snares a living creature in all four of its tentacles can extract and devour its living brain. Their eyes are pale white, and they can see perfectly well in both darkness and light. Their sense of hearing is slightly poorer than a human's; they have difficulty distinguishing between several sounds mixed together. Their skin is purplish blue to gray-green and covered in mucus, and is very sensitive to sunlight. Though sunlight does not actually harm them, they loathe it with incredible ferocity.

An illithid city is ruled by a creature called an Elder Brain which lives in a pool of cerebral fluid in the city's center. When an illithid dies its brain is extracted and taken to the pool. Illithids believe that when they die their personality is incorporated into the Elder Brain, but this is not the case. When the brain of an illithid is added to the Elder Brain, the memories, thoughts and experiences are consumed and added to the sum of the whole, but all else is lost. This fact is a closely guarded secret of the Elder Brains, since all illithid aspire to a form of immortality through this merging process. An extremely ancient Elder Brain is called a God-Brain because its psionic powers are almost limitless.

Since the Elder Brain contains the essence of every illithid that died in its community, it functions in part as a vast library of knowledge that a mind flayer can call upon with a simple telepathic call. The Elder Brain in turn can communicate telepathically with anyone in its community, issuing orders and ensuring everyone conforms.

Illithids generally frown upon magic, preferring their natural psionic ability. Psionic potential is an integral part of the illithid identity, and the Elder Brain cannot absorb the magical powers of an illithid mage when it dies. They tolerate a limited study of wizardry, if only to better understand the powers employed by their enemies. However, an illithid who goes too far and neglects his psionic development in favor of wizardry risks becoming an outcast. Denied the possibility of ever merging with the Elder Brain, such outcasts often seek their own immortality through undeath, becoming alhoons.

Illithids typically communicate through psychic means. They project thoughts and feelings to each other in a way non-illithids can scarcely comprehend. When they do feel the need to write, they do so in "qualith." Instead of typical alphabet-based writing, illithids write in qualith by making marks consisting of four broken lines. They use each tentacle to feel the breaks in the lines, making it basically similar to braille. However, qualith is extremely complex, as each line modifies the preceding lines through explaining abstract concepts associated with the above words in ways no human can understand; only by understanding all four lines simultaneously can the meaning be understood properly.
Cutebold Slaughter Fest
Illithids are one of the main races present in the setting. They're often involved in slave trade, capturing mostly Goblins and whoever else they can capture. They posses rather extensive psi powers, so approaching them is considered dangerous.

The Big City
Illitihids live in the city in a weird symbiotic-like tie to the society. They still eat the brains, but it's regulated - they only eat the brains of death-sentenced criminals, people willing to end their life or recently dead. Of course they're willing to pay money for the consent of eating a fresh brain.
Appearance and Racial Features
The Mechmen (more commonly referred to as “Clockworks”) are a strange race. Their skin is a series of thin, flexible metal plates. Their muscles are hydraulics. Their organs are complex mechanisms of gears and axles. Their brains are intricate machines made of incredibly small mechanisms, allowing them to mentally function as well as that of the (arguably) more organic races. Clockworks are created, not born. It is a process that only other Clockwork can (or bother to) comprehend. The process of making a Clockwork child takes up to a year of extremely hard work. When fully made, the Clockwork will slowly grow by consuming small parts and having their bizarre metabolism integrate those parts into their body until they are at their adult size.

Clockworks do not feel sexual attraction, thus their society has no real romantic relationships, and instead they have a much higher focus on friends and family. Though Clockworks technically have no genders, nearly all of them identify themselves as either male or female. The gender schema is likely to have been adopted due to early interactions with other cultures. Clockworks mostly live in small city-states; there are no political ties between separate Clockwork cities. These are ruled by a popularly elected Mayor or Governor.

Clockwork soldiers are entirely volunteer forces. Each city-state has its own military, which is split into two branches. The Militia is comprised part time soldiers/policemen. They are given basic training and standard equipment and always stay within the city-state’s territory. The Guard is made up of full time soldiers who receive advanced training at a military college and are armed with superior equipment, who can also be sent abroad if necessary. The soldiers in the Guard often have their weaponry and armor attached directly to their bodies.

Made from clay

The Kiln have virtually no major cities, they are entirely a guild based society. Each guild functions like a tiny nation, electing their own leaders, setting laws and regulations and managing contact with the rest of the world. Halltown is the closest thing the Kiln have to a city, and even then it is just a very poorly organized cluster of guildhalls. Most guilds fit within these four categories: research, craft, mercenary, and service. The Kiln are a very inventive people; most guilds have well-funded and highly active R&D divisions. These guilds are responsible for most of Caelum’s inventions, but in reality very few are practical at all.

Mercenaries make up the entirety of the Kiln fighting force. These particular guilds range from simple market guards to powerful paramilitary organizations. The real power of Kiln mercenaries is that they generally use the best equipment they can afford, which is almost everything on the market. The Condotierri is the most largest, most powerful and wealthiest of these organizations. They are also the most difficult to draw, which is why you probably won't see them in Simon's adventures.

Sculptor had great difficulty in creating the first Mudmen; they were very weak and short lived. Eventually he covered their soft bodies in grasses and cloth to protect them, turning them into the Strawmen. The Strawmen cannot heal injuries to their skin-cloth naturally; they must sew it back up themselves and use new cloth for damaged parts. Grizzled war veterans often resemble patchwork quilts.

Strawmen history is filled with constant hardship and strife. Plagues, floods, earthquakes and war threatened time and time again to remove their race from existence. Through determination and ingenuity, the Strawmen have overcome these hardships one by one and have finally unified themselves into a single political entity, the Gran Imperio.

The Strawman military is very strict and rigid organization. Each citizen must serve 2 years of service in the Imperial Navy. Strawmen lack the technology and skill of the Cobble or Kiln, and the sheer might and agility of the Clockworks, Arids and Cremates. Their real strength comes from their Navy. The Imperial Navy's dominance of air and sea is unmatched, containing the most advanced airships and aquatic vessels in Caelum.

The notorious Strawmen pirates consist mainly of rebellious ex-Navy soldiers and bands of brigands who have managed to get their hands on an airship. These outlaws have their hideouts scattered throughout the world, away from the prying eyes of civilization. The pirates generally work independently, pillaging and looting undefended merchant ships and towns, but occasionally they will accept a contract offered by the less scrupulous governments of Caelum and work as mercenaries.
Cremates are rather reclusive, preferring to keep to their own kind whenever possible. Most of them live in The Sear's barren wastes, easily surviving the harsh temperatures and perpetual smog. Cobble society is centered on businesses and corporations. The UTB has numerous secret police forces under its control, but won’t hesitate to resort to hiring out other races to do their dirty work. The Cobble are cautious nearly to the point of paranoia when they believe they are threatened, which means they will quickly move to eliminate any perceived threat as swiftly as possible.

Despite measures taken by the UTB and many other of the morally upright corporations, crime remains a serious problem. Unscrupulous businesses use underhanded tactics to increase their profit margins, and crime syndicates tarnish Cobble society with strings of theft, violence and manipulation.

The Cobble themselves are generally reserved in temperance and straightforward in conversation. The Arids are split into two major nations, the Southern Alliance with its capital in Mahbuht, and the Northern Union and its capital in Manham. Both nations have been quarreling over ownership of vast plains of worthless sand for well over a century. The nations are both virtually identical in politics, culture and economy. The only reason they hate each other is because of a dispute in a world tennis tournament decades years ago.

The Arids are a resourceful bunch, as they have an eon of experience of building impressive empires in the middle of a desert. Arids are generally amiable and friendly except when it comes to conversations about sports. Arid stadiums often have more action going on in the bleachers than in the field itself.

Though generally preferring passive diplomacy, the Arids are not unfamiliar with warfare. Influenced by life on the open desert, the Arids have developed many of their tactics on mobility. Various types of cavalry make up the main fighting force of the Arid arimes. They also often utilize various wild animals controlled remotely by an electronic implant. Arids appear float in midair upon a small twister of their body sand. Numerous theories have sprung up on how they manage to do this, ranging from magnetic fields, to manipulation of air currents to "the author just doesn't care".

Bugfolk, Insectoids or Bugmen are all collective and informal names of races of insect-based creatures common in fantasy and science fiction settings. They range from Thri-Keen from the AD&D setting Darksun, T'Rang from the Wizardry series to Klackon from the Master of Orion/Magic series.

Appearance and Racial Features
It's hard to define the generic Insectoid appearance, but it's well established that bugfolk retain most of their insect features - multiple limbs, wings, stings, feelers, compound eyes and chitinous carapace. Most Bugmen are organized in a social structure similar to a bee, termite or an ant hive - a caste system, ruled by a queen. Some of these societies exhibit a "hivemind" behavior - a sort of a collective consciousness, shared over different members of their species, while some of the Insectoids prefer a solitary life-stye akin to spiders or lone wasps. Whether the queen is the only one that can produce eggs or are all bugfolk are capable of doing that is usually setting-dependent.

Usually Bugfolk in a setting have their own unique name that they prefer to be referred as to. It can be sometimes unpronounceable to other races, causing other races to develop their own names or nicknames for them.

The most common 'bases' for bugmen are spiders, beetles, ants, wasps, mantises.

Appearance and Racial Features
Voltos are considered a race of Man, alongside humans, dwarves, elves and the like. They are shorter and slighter than humans but overall have a very similar body composition, save for a few points, most obviously the head. Other differences include a much more compact torso, narrow feet, pointed fingers, and generally longer limbs, most especially the arms.
Volto appear to be bird-like upon first glance, but this impression is highly deceptive. Voltos have solid facial structure and long skulls; their elongated face is neither a beak nor a nose, but rather an extension of a carnivore-built head. In this way, a Volto head more accurately resembles a predator with a long but low-set mouth, like a shark. The lower jaw is shallow but runs about 3/4ths the length to the end of the face.
Voltos are generally green-skinned but the tone can range from vibrant lime greens to slightly bluer hues and from deep forest shades to dull grayish, with the common norm being Kelly green. Voltos also grow scalp hair at a great speed and do not suffer balding as a result of age, so the most common hairstyles of the race reflect this natural abundance of raw material. The back of a Volto's head bears a small, claw-shaped crest supported by bone, but this is a rarely-known fact given the infrequency of bald Voltos.

A race of rat-like appearing in many settings, first appeared in Alien Quest. Most notable ratmen are Skaven from Warhammer Fantasy universe and Wererats from Advanced Dungeons and Dragons or Old World of Darkness.

Appearance and Racial Features
It's pretty established that Ratmen have a lot of animalistic features. Their heads are those of rats, bodies are covered in thick fur in variety of colours akin to rats - browns, black, grey and white. They also have long whip-like tails, that seem to be prehensile in most cases. Their hands resemble scrawny human ones with thin bone-like fingers, often having claws on the end. Their hands, wrists and feet are furless, some of the authors also make their behinds furless, copying the Skaven looks.

The only diversity through the settings is their way or walking. It differs from ratmen having digitgrade feet (although this seems to be very rare) to them walking on full plantigrade ones (most common). They often appear to be hunched, but it's kind of hard to tell is it because of the specific design or because they keep their head low all of the time.

Ivan Kalin It (I.K.IT) - Totally honest Ratman trader from the Nyalopethen Stratum. His loud obnoxious personality is just a cover for his actual shrewd, creepy gay personality. He was modeled after Ikit - Ratman trader from a Kobold-themed campaign that the author participated it.

Bubble Bucket
Ikit - A very short, and very loud shopkeeper who is very HONEST, and needs to feed his starving children. He is hiding something in his basement. He also was modeled after Ikit - Ratman trader from a Kobold-themed campaign that the author participated it.
Gobbo Quest
Nezu - An adorable orphaned rat-girl with frekcles, that Tazu took under her care. Used to be a sneaky thief, trying to live off what she stole. She totally hates bathing and working for old Kobold professors. Currently she's hanging around with Tazu, causing mischief and mayhem.

Disputed
Knight Blades
Iesgip - A.K.A. Python, a hunter-gatherer, providing food and herbs for Ridder's merry men (and women). She is known for engaging in some tactical espionage action. Also has an amazing set of abs. It's disputed whether she is a kobold or of ratfolk.

Appearance and Racial Features
According to Journey Quest, Nedynvor are large avian humanoids that hail from the Island of the Great Sky Dragon. They are tall, long necked creatures with long, wide, wing-like arms that end in broad flat fingers. Males possess an extra finger in the form of a sharp claw-like index finger, they possess the same bones as a female, except rather than having two sets of phalanges in each finger, the male's have one set that breaks away to form the finger claw. Their tails are long and typically end in 3 or more prongs. Their tails also split along the prongs and spread out into a large tail wing. The male's tails possess colorful and intricate patterns across their plumage which is used for intimidation and to attract mates. Their legs end in sharp blade like extensions made up of a combination of bone and keratin. On the back of their head, Nedynvor possess an organ that collects additional oxygen supplying it to their brain, this allows them to function properly in areas with low oxygen content, such as very high altitudes. Their tongue is long and prehensile, extending several feet from their mouth at full maturity. At the end of the tongue a small, hard tip is capable of delivering a potent bio-electric shock, used for stunning food. Atop their head is a surprisingly hard plate of keratin that protects their cranium.

Nedynvor are insectivores, primarily dining on large insects, grubs, and worms collected with their long tongues. Nedynvor society revolves around their island, which is actually a very large living creature. The Great Sky Dragon, as it is known, relentlessly soars through the skies only landing in the ocean once a year, for the span of one month, to feed and rest. During this time the island is swarmed by Kren merchants seeking to acquire exotic Nedynvor wares, and sell their own to the inhabitants. The Nedynvor maintain the Great Sky Dragon; plucking parasitic insects, keeping order on the land located on its back, and even casting their dead into feeding pits. Nedynvor don't really actively worship any given deity. They acknowledge the “Great Dragon” (the flying island) and refer to it much in the same way as other races would acknowledge their own God(s). When a Nedynvor dies on the island, their body is prepared, and then a procession takes them to a “Feeding Pit,” which is actually a secondary mouth for the Great Dragon, in a ritual symbolizing the Nedynvor being returned from whence they came.

Journey Quest (often referred to simply as Journey or JQ) was an epic quest by Lucid in a world of his own design. Journey's one of the better known quests due to a combination of drawing quality, gripping narrative, and the existence of a controversial antagonist that has tgchan split between two opposing forces of Fan Dumb.

On December 15, 2009, Journey Quest completed its 13th and final chapter.

But fret not, a comic is in the works!

More information on Lucid's world can be found here (not really).
Overview
Take control of Demesi of Angoldas and help guide him on his way through an unfamiliar world in his attempt to return home.
Demesi of Angoldas
A young Nedynvor lad, who on his first solo trip away from his home island, awakes to find himself mysteriously at the bottom of a pit inside a cave. Completely out of his element, and not knowing anything about how the world outside his island works, he sets about exploring the tunnels, looking for a way home. Upon finding the cave to have been somehow sealed, he is left with no recourse but to venture further into the depths of the cave. A Kren merchant set up in the cave system informs him of a nearby Lohrke settlement. Demesi sets out to seek their aid to get himself back home.

Tav Unt'bel
Tav Unt'bel is a volunteer soldier in the city militia of the Lohrke city located in the cave system Demesi finds himself in. He has been waging a one man guerrilla war against an invading force in an attempt to buy time for the other inhabitants of the city to have made their escape through the the Evacuation Tunnel. He was originally the loader of a two man weapon team wielding a Shock Lance, however, his partner has since passed away in the line of duty. Tav has taken up their Shock Lance himself and now runs it as a one man army fighting against the invading Engsami forces.

Aggeia Snoow
Aggeia is a Jungle Lazuhrek Demesi encounters in a neighboring dungeon cell. She assists Tav and Demesi in escaping from the Engsami stronghold. She has been sent there by her superiors, the Hat'kal, for a mission, but is reluctant to carry it out, or inform her new comrades of what exactly it is. She possesses a silver tongue and is quite flexible and able to squeeze through many locations one would not expect her body to fit through. She loves the taste of fruit.

Binky
Binky is a Shocker Crab, a creature indigenous to the caves Demesi wakes up in, purchased from the Kren merchant via trade. Originally intended to simply be a tool used for some puzzles in the quest, the author found it difficult to actually come up with puzzles, and as such, created short "Crab quest" style chapters where the participants took control of this diminutive, shocking hero. Binky does not possess much brain meats, being a simple crab, but can launch bolts of electricity a short distance from his claws, and find his way into small locations.

Other Chracters
General Kyaos & Ga'nneda

General Kyaos is a winged type Engsami, and the leader in command of the invasion force raiding the Lohrke city. She rides on the back of her partner Ga'nneda, using his bulk as both a defensive tank, and powerful weapon. The two make a formidable team. Ga'nneda, usually fairly slow to react to things, being a large turtle type Leviathan Engsami, but with Kyaos directing him and providing an extra pair of eyes, he's a true monster, and his drive to protect Kyaos makes him almost unstoppable. Perhaps the link between the two is more than just a simple work relationship?

Admiral Denjold

The Admiral is the leader of the Denjold clan of Engsami. A ruthless band of land pirates who primarily deal in the slave trade. Kyaos is one of his top generals. He's more of a command from the rear leader, not due to lack of ability, or courage, more of "what are subordinates for?" mentality. Alternate names he is known by are "Scourge of the Sands," "The Great Dragon of the Desert," and others. He has lead his pirate clan to become the most feared Engsami in the desert, so much so, even the mighty Hat'kal empire fears the name "Denjold."
Want to contribute to the WikiQuest but don't know where to start? One good place to start is by editing articles that are designated as Stub articles and Work in Progress articles. These articles need anything from minor tweaks to major overhauls, and anything you have to add would be appreciated! Please keep articles NEUTRAL and INFORMATIVE. The main purpose of the Wiki is to provide unbiased information on all quests and authors, rather than build a shrine dedicated to some. Put some thought into the articles.

If you want to dive into writing some highly needed articles from scratch, check out the list of Wanted Pages. These are pages that are linked to from other pages but that have no articles associated with them. They are sorted by the number of links that point to them, so by filling in the articles towards the top of the list, you will be giving the most bang for your temporal buck.(DoubleHope would like to note that we dont actually have these pages set up yet.)

An original race of creatures inspired by cave salamanders appearing in Journey Quest (most notably), often referred to as Glowworms because of their bioluminescence. Created by Lucid.

Appearance and Racial Features
From Journey Quest:
Lohrke are a subterranean species of humanoid mammals closely resembling odd animate fungus. They begin their lives as immobile starfish-like decomposers. The parents of a newborn Lohrke place the young atop a compost pile of rotting animal and vegetable matter and keep watch over it to keep it safe as it develops. Over the course of a year, the young Lohrke develops a long stalk sprouting off the initial “foot” with a large bulb on the end, and lined with bioluminescent globes, as it develops its spine and skull. At this point the mother will slowly take over, breast feeding the young weaning it onto taking in food with its newly developed mouth. Over the course of another year, the young Lohrke’s stalk splits at the bottom into a pair of legs and a tail roughly ¾ the length of it’s body, as well as arms. The bottom of their feet and tail is lined with hundreds of tiny fibers that excrete a sticky mucous, allowing Lohrke to walk almost effortlessly along cavern walls and ceilings. When traversing walls or ceilings Lohrke drag their tail, making sure it is in constant contact with the surface they are walking on anchoring them. Lohrke eyes are developed for subterranean existence and as such, can see several feet ahead of them with little to no lighting, however, this vision is fairly simple, not really capable of making out specific details of certain things, thus, they frequently will light a cavern around them using their bioluminescent globes, located on their backs and shoulder/ collar region.

Lohrke society as a whole maintains a social taboo for going to the surface. Most believe that exposure to the sun will kill them; the idea of how this happens tends to vary from Lohrke to Lohrke. The effects of prolonged exposure to sunlight cause a Lohrke’s body to slowly burn. After about an hour, any part of their body exposed exhibits equivalent damage to very bad sunburn, within the next hour, that skin will begin to erupt in terrible blisters. Shortly there after, the blisters will rupture, exposing the lower layer of skin to the harsh sunlight. As this layer of flesh burns, it causes incredible pain to the victim leaving scaring similar to that of a burn victim.

As a species they have an affinity for SCIENCE. Depending on the region they are living in and the power sources that can be found in that region they tend to develop fantastical technological devices known to them as “Technomancy.” As an example, the cities that developed near underground lakes discovered an abundance of a crustacean known as “Shocker Crabs” which produce in their bodies a powerful electric charge. They harnessed this to develop electricity based devises. Another society that developed in a volcano developed a means to harness the heat from the earth to develop steam powered devices and using the chitin from a magma dwelling creature known as “Magma Divers” developed weapons, armor, and other such devices capable of withstanding the extreme heat of molten lava.

Lohrke society is run by a comity consisting of a mayor for each town and a council of his/ her most trusted advisors. Lohrke cities always include a section designated for outside visitors. Unlike the rest of the city, the buildings in these designated areas will be equipped with stairs or ladders, as Lohrke themselves have no need for such things, they are absent from standard structures.

The Lohrke worship Urn’kel, the God of the Depths. He is depicted as a large cloaked figure with a single eyed mask. One hand is visible as a large pincer. From the bottom of his cloak spews a swarm of either Shocker Crabs, Magma Divers, or similar creature, depending on the region. Urn’kel is said to have provided the vast tunnels of the depths for his chosen people, along with the bountiful creatures of the caves to be utilized by his people. He protects the Lohrke from the horrors of the surface world with his dark shroud, which ties in with the societal taboo the Lohrke have regarding the surface.

One of the oldest quest authors, as Weaver's popular quest Ruby Quest brought the medium into the spotlight and influenced many subsequent questmasters. Also responsible for well-known phenomena such as the cutebold and dawwblin comics, stylized after one of the tilesets for Dwarf Fortress and the World Eater thread, both of which were posted under different identities a few weeks before Ruby Quest began. He denies the authorship, but it's pretty well known that he is responsible for it.

He was also hiding under the name Player 1 on /v/ and authored many Animal-Crossing related comics. He is also a drawhore that created Boxdog.

Weaver runs DiveQuest, NanQuest, and Atophane's Tales.

A race of anthropomorphic cats appearing in several different settings and under different names. It's hard to tell the exact origin of some of them, but most notable use of Catfolk in non-quest media is probably in games like Quest For Glory (Katta), Elder Scrolls(Khajiit), movies like "Bagi, the Monster of Mighty Nature" by Osamu Tezuka, books like the "Chanur novels" (Hani) by C. J. Cherryh or "The Ring" by Larry Niven (Kzin), or as actual AD&D races (Tabaxi).

Appearance and Racial Features
The most standing-out characteristics of catfolk are the cat-like heads. One way or another the catfolk seem to posses a lot of feline features - whiskers, cat-like muzzle, cat ears and slited eyes. Sometimes catfolk have hair similar to human one, but in most cases they don't. The other standing-out features seem to be sharp cat claws and patterned fur covering the whole body.

Whether they're plantigrade(walk on their soles) or digitgrade(walk on their toes) is open for discussion as both options are popular. The appearance of pawpads on hands and feet is also disputed as both options are also pretty popular, given a variety of configurations that can occur. Tails seem to be another issue of preference for the setting, often the catfolk are shown with tails, but some catfolk variants don't have a tail at all.

Their height varies from 1 meter to stunning 2 and half meters, depending on which member of the cat family the catfolk descend from. As rule of the thumb follows - the bigger the initial cat-family member is, the bigger the catperson is. Catfolk originating from domesticated cats are shown as either small or human sized. It all depends on the author's choice.
Rape Quest
The main character Nimi may be of catfolk breed, although it's heavily disputable whether Nimi is a true catwoman or just a stylized anthromorphic cat. It's safe to assume she is not, although lack of input from the quest author may be a problem on solving this issue.

Forced Sexual Assault Quest
Since it's a parody of Rape Quest it falls under the same category as the previous entry.

Wrong Association
Tom featured in RubyQuest is NOT considered to be catfolk. Tom has it's origin in a character from Animal Crossing of the same name and looks. Thus he isn't a catperson by any standards.

Tails seem to be another issue of preference for the setting. often the catfolk are shown with tails, but some catfolk variants don't have a tail at all.
